The awesomeness that is babysitting night

We are in a babysitting co-op. This means that once a month we have one hugely crazy night of babysitting so that we can have three date nights free of charge (yes we are also cheap). Last night was our turn to tend the children. We have 12 kids in the co-op with only 2 of them being girls. Let me tell you, you haven't lived until you watch 12 kids at once (let me know if you want to try it). The first few times we babysat, we would reach the end of the night and think "We are never doing this again." Now, things run like clockwork with only the occasional brawl and wetting of the pants (by the kids not us). Last night was actually pretty mellow, and John and I actually got to sit on the couch for 30 full minutes and catch up on The Office while the kids played in the basement. Now we get to enjoy the next three Fridays out and secretly smile when we think of all the kids at someone else's house - probably getting into something.
